Since 2008, they’ve grown from a small office into a nationally recognized design studio, all within the Hunters Capital community. Capitol Hill plays a big role in their story. Founder Kristine Matthews and her team love being surrounded by the energy of the neighborhood — the mix of art, culture, and people fuels their creativity every day. Kristine describes her team as "design nerds in the best way possible," always passionate about creating tactile, meaningful work, and crafting storytelling that lets people see the world around them in new ways. A Seattle native and UW alum, Nicholas has called Capitol Hill home for six years, five of them at The Broadway Building. He was drawn to the neighborhood’s queer and artistic communities and captivated for good by the diverse and walkable urban environment. Living with his partner, Victor (4-year Broadway resident), he values more than just the central location and park views—he's delighted to find his apartment came with a management team that sincerely cares about fostering community—a first among anywhere he’s lived thus far.
