“Four years ago Hunters Capital acquired a QFC-anchored Seattle property with an eye toward redeveloping it.
That timing might not be as far off now that the Capitol Hill store at 416 15th Ave. E. will close April 24. But don’t expect any action soon.
Jill Cronauer, chief operating officer and designated broker at Seattle-based Hunters, on Monday said Quality Foods Centers has “a couple years left” on its lease.
‘We all know that activated storefronts are critical and we will work with them, as much as they allow, to keep that block activated until a long-term plan can be put into place,’ she said in an email.”
