Throwback Thursday to six months ago when we got t Throwback Thursday to six months ago when we got the green light to open Capitol Hilltop! Our entire team went all in to make it happen — literally. Can you believe our accounting team rented and drove moving trucks just to help the first residents move in? Even our CFO, Lindsey, spent the entire day helping — at one point, carrying a couch on her back. Talk about teamwork! Capitol Hilltop is now 100% leased! All within a record-breaking 5 months of the opening! This incredible milestone is a testament to the dedication, care, and commitment of our residential team. From move-ins to community events, their hard work has turned Capitol Hilltop into more than just a full building. It’s a thriving urban village. We couldn't be more proud of our Hunters Capital family. For the first time since 1912, the building was no longer a bank, but a community hub where thousands can gather each weekend. Today, you’ll find climbing walls, an infrared sauna in the old bank vault, and cold plunges where safety deposit boxes once stood. It’s not just a restoration — it’s a reinvention. He said "since moving here, I've become very passionate about public transit and the many ways of exploring a city! I love how Cap Hill has just so much to do: whether it be playing spikeball at Cal Anderson, going on a long walk with my dog Bernie to Volunteer Park, or trying all the different restaurants and foods along Pike/Pine and Broadway, there's never a shortage of things to do or discover. Something I love about Dunn Motors is just how friendly everyone is -- throughout the day, Jackson always says hello to me on my way in and out of the building, and our friendly chats go a long way in helping get my day off to a good start." A Seattle native and UW alum, Nicholas has called Capitol Hill home for six years, five of them at The Broadway Building. He was drawn to the neighborhood’s queer and artistic communities and captivated for good by the diverse and walkable urban environment. Living with his partner, Victor (4-year Broadway resident), he values more than just the central location and park views—he's delighted to find his apartment came with a management team that sincerely cares about fostering community—a first among anywhere he’s lived thus far.
