In December 2024, The University National Bank reopened with a new tenant, @seattleboulderingproject . For the first time since 1912, the building was no longer a bank, but a community hub where thousands can gather each weekend. Today, you’ll find climbing walls, an infrared sauna in the old bank vault, and cold plunges where safety deposit boxes once stood. It’s not just a restoration — it’s a reinvention. He said "since moving here, I've become very passionate about public transit and the many ways of exploring a city! I love how Cap Hill has just so much to do: whether it be playing spikeball at Cal Anderson, going on a long walk with my dog Bernie to Volunteer Park, or trying all the different restaurants and foods along Pike/Pine and Broadway, there's never a shortage of things to do or discover. Something I love about Dunn Motors is just how friendly everyone is -- throughout the day, Jackson always says hello to me on my way in and out of the building, and our friendly chats go a long way in helping get my day off to a good start."
